- SanWild Wildlife Sanctuary and Rehabilitation centre
Sanwild is both a rehabilitation centre specialising in plains game species, and a sanctuary for wildlife which is also used as a release site for many other wild animals from other rehabilitation centres. All animals that are rescued, treated or handraised at SanWild are released into the sanctuary. The wild animals and the land are protected in perpetuity under the SandWild Wildlife Trust. Wild animals released into the sanctuary may never be sold, trade or hunted.
